Have you ever wondered, “Can Jesus really understand the struggles of my life? When I am feeling the weight of temptation to any sort of sin, can he really empathize?” The short answer? Yes. The long answer? Absolutely. In the temptations of Jesus, he was tempted in a very unique way, but its implications are universal. What does it mean for us to trust God as much Jesus trusts Him? Jesus can empathize with us more deeply than anyone in all Creation. How can we resist temptation as Jesus resisted it?
