Below are pictures from our annual 2001

“How Many Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Can You Stuff In Your Mouth At One Time?”

This is your official warning; you’ll have to have a strong stomach, in order to view some of these pictures.  The hardest thing about competing in this contest is keeping the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in your mouth while everyone is laughing at you and trying to get you to laugh.  You have to eat all of the peanut butter cups and cannot spit or drool any of them away.  However, you can push the stuff on your chin and cheeks back into your mouth.  Last year’s champion, Megan Harvey, was edged aside by the new champ, Jessica Kelley.  By the way, these are the full size Peanut Butter Cups.  The small ones just wouldn’t be fair, nor as much fun!

Last year’s champ warming up

This is a champion’s technique

Ooopps, don’t loose it

Megan displaying true style

A little wipe on the chin finishes it up

Let a professional show you how

A Youth Leader knows these things

Looks like a little  chipmunk

This is harder with friends laughing

A little wipe on the chin finishes it up

This should be a piece of  cake

There’s that chipmunk look again

She’s loading up, but not through

Look, it’s the Grand  Canyon

One more oughtta do the trick

Heavenly Father, please help me

This is starting to get really messy

It’s not messy, it’s getting gross

I’m gonna be really sick later

This will take more than a little wipe

We warned you; this can be really gross

No, this is the Grand  Canyon

Come on, it’s not that disgusting

I can’t believe I’m associated with them

Here’s all that remains, we think

Our youth are great.  We sure had a great time at our annual “How Many Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Can You Stuff In Your Mouth At One Time?” contest, and are so thankful to the Lord for their presence.  I apologize for not getting individual pictures of all of the participants, but I was just laughing to hard and not paying attention to my duties.  Thanks to Jacquelyn Clark, Leslie Davidson, Megan Harvey, Nicole Johnson, Courtney McCormick, and Kristen Wrzesniewski for y’alls participation.  We would like to thank Jessica Kelley, Cara Laughlin, and Deanna Waters for helping with the Youth leadership.  Y’all are truly special.  This was Courtney’s first Youth meeting with us, and we’re hoping this event won’t scare her away.

                                                            In Christ’s love, Walter Scogin
